Cross Border Business Networking Event in Business Incubator of Nagykanizsa

B2B event held at Business Incubator of Nagykanisza proved to be a great success which was to be expected seeing that the interest for the event was high. The event was highlighted by the sight of businessmen from both Croatia and Hungary getting to know each other and discussing the potential cooperation opportunities.
The business networking event was held on 6th November 2012 in scope of two projects financed through IPA Hungary-Croatia cross border cooperation programme which share a common goal and that is to foster networking among entrepreneurs in the bordering regions. I3CT Crossborder Clustering project focuses on ICT companies whereas BOSH project aims to analyse various sectors. In order to make the event as dynamic as possible three parallel sessions were held each focusing on different areas of economy (IT, services and industry). During the sessions companies were given the opportunity to introduce themselves after which they could engage in B2B meetings.
The meetings were facilitated by official interpreters who lent their assistance to entrepreneurs. The participants who did not find business partners during the day could contact the representatives of local and regional economic development organizations (chambers of commerce and crafts, business incubators, innovation centres etc.) from both Hungary and Croatia who answered their questions and offered their assistance.
The conversations started during the sessions continued even after the closing reception promising fruitful cooperation between Hungarian and Croatian entrepreneurs.
