  Cooperation of Medjimurje University of Applied Sciences in Čakovec and Unversity of Pannonia Nagykanizsa

On 21th September 2012 European Cooperation Day was celebrated across the Europe and neighbouring countries. With 75 European Territorial Cooperation programmes on board, more than 100 events took place all ever Europe during the week 17th – 23rd September 2012. The aim of the campaign, which carries a slogan “Sharing borders, growing closer” was to celebrate the achievements of cooperation between European regions and countries.
In scope of the “I3CT Crossborder Clustering” project, Hungary-Croatia IPA Cross-border Co-operation Programme, Medjimurje University of Applied Sciences has hosted its colleagues and project partners from University of Pannonia Nagykanizsa in their study tour. The objective of the visit was to exchange experiences and practices in ICT education. Both institutions currently create trilingual e-learning courses (on Hungarian, English and Croatian language) which will be available to all students.
Partners from University of Pannonia were presented the work of the Medjimurje University of Applied Sciences in Čakovec and computer lecture room which was equipped with modern equipment from the project funds. After the official part, study tour continued with the visit to the tourist complex in Mursko Središće.
The next step in cooperation between two institutions is the study visit of professors and staff of Medjimurje University of Applied Sciences in Čakovec to University of Pannonia during October 2012.
